About Camp Motorsport

Camp Motorsport is an independent guide written by people who spend their weekends at circuits and kart tracks, not in marketing meetings.

We started this because the advice new drivers get is usually one of three things: intimidating, trying to sell them something, or both. Getting on track for the first time shouldn't require knowing the right people — it should just require good, honest information. That's all we try to be.

What we cover

Track days, karting, the kit that's genuinely worth the money, and the safety habits that keep it fun. We also look at the wider world around the sport — how it's funded, followed and, yes, bet on — because understanding that is part of understanding the sport itself.

Our stance

We don't sell cars, kit or track time, and we don't take payment to recommend a venue. The aim is simple: help more people get on track safely, and get faster once they're there. Where we mention anything involving money or betting, we say plainly that it carries risk and should stay a bit of fun — never a way to make money.
